The transparency score comes from whether a warranty company offers a money-back guarantee and whether it provides sample contracts for its warranty plans on its website. We also looked at what deductible options each company offers as well as any applicable discounts. In each case, we used different vehicles and warranty plans in order to get a cross-section of what each provider charges. To determine a cost score, we got several quotes from both providers. Endurance scores a bit higher in this category as it’s a direct provider of its warranty plans.
