Elevator clean and fast to the 3rd floor. Breakfast area was spotless and clean, can't wait to have breakfast in the morning. A very clean, new, nice and well thought out property. We did, and we arrived at the HI Express. No problem, the attendant said this happens at least 1 time a week, maybe more, and that he'd have his shuttle driver take us back to the airport, where we could call the HI Express shuttle to come get us.
That one word."Express" was the difference between being on the West side of the airport, or on the East side, where we were supposed to be. We were supposed to be a the Holiday Inn Express and Suites. It did, and we were delivered to hotel, where the front desk attendant informed my wife and I that we did not have a reservation AT THAT HOTEL. I smartly walked up to the Hotel shuttle call desk, and noted Holiday Inn and Suites number, made the call and waited for our shuttle to come. A funny thing happened on the way to the Holiday Inn Express and Suites when we arrived at the Salt Lake City Airport. The room was very good for this level of hotel. Keys worked 1st time, however, a tip - place the key in the slot with the photo upside down.
